How many wedding images do you provide?
The number of final edited photographs varies depending on the length of your day and how much is going on. For example, sometimes people choose to have quite simple, minimalist days, and other times there are numerous games, activities, lots of decorations, different venues or stages of the day to capture.
Having said this, for a full day's coverage you will receive a minimum of 350 fully edited photographs. And don't worry, I won't overload you either. For weddings with lots going on, you will receive a maximum of 600 final edited photographs. I provide one digital album of colour photographs, and then another album full of all photos edited in black and white.
What kind of things do you capture during a wedding?
I like to capture everything I can, from the main, traditional aspects such as bridal prep, the ceremony, people mingling, group shots, couple portraits, speeches, cutting the cake and the first dance, to everything in between. There are the table decorations, anything you've had made especially, the surrounding scenery, food, flowers, the rings, and a few shots of people dancing to finish the night off! Basically, I will shoot anything you have planned, or any surprises that come your way.
What types of weddings do you photograph?
All of them! I shoot religious and non-religious, traditional and alternative, simple and cram-packed, same sex and heterosexual, indoors and outdoors, and everything in between! To me, love is love.
If I am honest, outdoor humanist weddings are my absolute favourite, but I enjoy every wedding I am chosen for, and put all my efforts and energy into each one.
You're described as a 'UK and international' photographer. What does this mean?
I am based in Nottingham, England, however I love to travel, so I don't like to restrict my bookings. In fact, I welcome weddings and photo shoots from all over! My second home is in Calgary, Canada, where lots of my family still live, so I see the world as accessible and ready to be explored!
If the booking is to be far from Nottingham, then I ask for travel and accommodation to be included in the final cost. However, as I welcome adventures with open arms, bookings for outside of England come at reduced overall costs.
How long does it take for you to get the final edited photographs to us?
I aim to have the photos to you within 3 weeks of your wedding day. Depending on the number of photos and the time of year, this time can vary slightly, however I will always keep you up-to-date. Plus, you'll get to see a few sneak peeks via Facebook while you're waiting.
How do we receive the photographs?
I use a site named PASS to share your photos with you. I will give you an easily remembered password, which you are welcome to share with any friends and family you desire. With this password, people can view your wedding gallery in both colour and black and white, from anywhere in the world, on any device. View them as a slideshow, download them to your computer for printing with one click, share them straight to Facebook, or e-mail them to people. Your photos will stay stored on here for 1 year.
